Utilizes infrared technology to derive the most accurate body temperature from the tympanic membrane. Records and analyzes up to 100 temperature measurement, and selects the highest and most accurate in less than 2 seconds. Reduces the chance of an inaccurate reading due to improper technique or patient movement. Durable tip-based sensor technology improves durability and accuracy, minimizing the need for recalibration. Small tapered tip facilitates proper alignment with the tympanic ear canal to minimize technique errors, enhance patient comfort and facilitate pediatric use. One to two second response time. Provides actual current temperature status unlike predictive devices. Shows oral, rectal, auxiliary and core or an absolute temperature reading in the ear setting, and can be customized according to hospital protocol.
